Hopefully not a strange post but wanted some views as been mulling on this for a couple of months now, with Christmas being a trigger point. I put all one-euro, two-euro and fifty-cent coins (I live in France) in a pot, all smaller coins in a jar, and all five-euro notes in a little box that my husband doesn't know about. I do this every night with whatever I have left in my purse. I never notice it, and when we needed to decorate the bathroom and went to IKEA and spent 100 euros on bits and pieces, taken out of that box.
