They could now argue that your earlier repairs have caused damage.

please help as i dont know where i stand on this. I have had my indesit washer for just over 12 months (literally) and it has broken, the paddles have all come off the drum all 3 of them so i had a look on indesit website and the parts were £25 each. In the end i bought them from amazon at a fraction of the cost and put them on myself (easy enough as they just clip on) all was gooduntil low and behold they all snapped off again. I therefore rang indesit customer services and they said the problem is inside the drum ...and i have 2 choices. 1. Pay £104 to fix problem guarranteed for 90 days or 2. Pay £15 per month for 12 months breakdown cover no call out fees and free parts and labour. I come off the phone having chosen option 2 and dont know wether to just cancel it and buy new washer. I just feel slightly duped as only few days out of warranty. Help!

I thought Indesit gave a five year guarantee on parts.
The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark
