Help!! Think i've messed up WBrom Websave ISA

Hi,

My intention was to transfer my existing ISA from Cheltenham & Gloucester into the West Brom's Websave ISA paying 2.85% that allows transfers in..

When i began the process i was asked if i had paid into a ISA for 2010/11 and would i be transfering funds from previous ISA's, i answered yes to both!!!

During the application, i was asked to nominate a Bank/Building Society that i would deposit money from or withdraw to.

To complete the application process it was asking me to enter an amount from £1000 to £50000. So i thought here, i would put the whole amount from previous years ISA's i would like to transfer from from C&G.

I've just received a confirmation e-mail confirming my application and it said if i want to transfer previous years ISA's then i must complete and return the form to them.

When i've sent off the form to transfer from C&G will they accept that as my deposit or will they attempt to take the £8k plus i put down to open my account.

I'm sure i've not got much to worry about and i could always call them monday morning..

Any advice please?

Sounds to me as if you've done the correct things! Is £8k the total amount from your existing ISA that you want to transfer in then?

This year's ISA allowance can only be transferred in full but I assume you have taken this into consideration already! :j

    Thanks for the reply.

Yes, the £8k is the total amount from my existing ISA that i would like to transfer in. I've sent them an email about my application concerns and filled out a transfer form.

I'm just hoping that they don't try and take the £8k from my current account.
