I wish that I could defraud the Banks the same way they defrauded the people....................... ;o))

Whether you have the permission of the person whose signature is "replicated", or not - it is still illegal.
It is the same as using your wife's pin number and card.
In addition, the person letting you use their card isn't breaking the law per s!, but is probably breaking the terms of their agreement with their card issuer by disclosing their PIN to an unauthorised (by the issuer) third party.0 -
Also, to the OP, remember that a "signature" does not have to be your name, or even written with your hand. I have met a man before who had no hands, so used a smudge of ink with his big toe as his official signature. To prevent fraud, he had one of those NatWest debit cards that you could personalise - so he had a photo of himself on there with the words "if anyone except this man is trying to use this card, please call the police".
(Oh, and before anyone asks "but how does he...", he has a helper!)0
