When they do have to pay for independent legal advice from a solicitor is when someone leaves under a compromise agreement.
Sorry, yes, I was going to be made redundant, but the compromise/voluntary bit came in because we agreed I was to 'take the money and run' sooner rather than later.Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -

It was an informal meeting after all.
