Orange 30-day pay monthly sim
Hi everyone, hoping someone here will be knowledgeable about Orange 30 day sim cards.
I've had my sim for over a year now I believe, I chose the dolphin 20 pounds a month at the time (i think) which gives me 600 minutes and unlimited texts, I also added 250MB internet for £5 per month. So including the vat increase my bill is usually around £26 a month.
I've logged into my online account on the Orange website as I would like to downgrade the sim card to save some money... 100 minutes per month would be plenty, would still like unlimited texts though. Also noticed on their site that 500MB internet is the same price as I am paying for 250MB but I can't see anywhere to switch it?
Thanks

That sounds like an awfull lot. Have you thought about joining giffgaff? 250 mins / unlimited texts and truely unlimited internet, for £10 a month.
Not sure how to switch your current plan, im guessing you would have to call up and see what they could offer you.0 -
Thanks that sounds like a good deal but my iPhone is on Orange so I think I have to stick with them£2 Savers Club 2011 (putting towards a deposit

call 150 and ask for your pac number, make out your leaving for a cheaper deal. "quote threes prices £10 and £15 per month."
i got offered 400 mins, 3000 texts and 500mb of data for £15.36 per month. although i am probably going to try three on a sim only deal @£10 per month for 300 min, 3000 texts and 1gb data.0 -
I got the 30 day Racoon 15 deal for £10.21, 300 mins 100 texts & unlimited landlines from retentions.....so 30 DAYS sims can be DISCOUNTEDSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0

Orange and T-Mobile are now the same network, so why not try T-Mobile sim-free. They have better deals and you get the same reception, but check with them if your handset will work with a T-Mobile sim or if you need to get it unlocked for about £10.
Actually, Vodafone have the best non Giff-Gaff sim only deals in my opinion., so it might be worth you unlocking the handset for £10.0 -
It costs £20.42 to unlock an iPhone via Orange, not £10.
That is assuming you got the phone on contract originally. If you got it on Orange PAYG you'll need to have registered the PAYG sim that came with it, and had the sim registered for more than 3 months. If those criteria are not met Orange will not unlock the phone.I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0 -
