Do you really think the OP is a genuine 23 year old girl complaining about the amount her Mum is asking her to pay?
Do you really think her 'Mum' exists?
Do you really think her brother' exists?
Yeah, right.
Only in the OP's Troll mind.0 -

They do not teach courses on common sense at university. DH and I have both known some very brilliant people with advanced degrees who were hardly fit to be let out without their nanny.
Common sense is something that can be acquired in what's been called the 'university of life' or the 'school of hard knocks'. Or it's something you're born with or you learn in other ways, in the playground, from family members, whatever. You don't need to be super-intelligent and you certainly can't be 'taught' it as an academic subject.Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.

the OP is a troll,0 -
I must say, this is the first explicitly obvious troll thread that has got to 20 pages.
Wise-up, people.0 -
It's sad to see that you now have even less respect for the woman who raised you than you did when you first started this troll thread. You nasty little piece of work you.
Sadly there are some people who really do stuff like this
How about going and having a read of the narcissists thread?Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
Wow, 400 responses to an obvious wind up thread. There are more bitter old 'youth of today' hating old farts on this forum than even I thought (and gullible ones at that).0

I don't hate the youth of today lol, how on earth do you draw that conclusion whether this thread is a wind up or not?
Nothing to do with hating 'youth', ..just this particular 'specimen' whether she is a troll, a 23 year old or a granny in disguise. Whichever she is, she needs to get out moreThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
If I remember rightly I was paying nearly £100 pw in the 1980's! I think OP you are a very lucky girl if your Mum wants to charge you so little. Also the suggestion that your mum is trying to rip you off is ridiculous, as the amount she is asking is so low.
(Must admit I haven't read the whole thread - I didn't feel in this instance that I needed to. OP needs either to grow up. Either that or this tread is a trolls idea of a joke!)0 -
Why has the troll brought this post up after 6 months???0
-
I haven't read all the thread, and I agree it's a troll. But on the off chance it isn't, I agree (based on the first page) that what's being asked isn't fair.
OP works full time, brother works part time, mum unemployed. Op should pay most, followed by brother then mum.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
