Ugh so bored this evening. Waiting for BF's housemates to go out so we can crack open the malteasers & watch a movie. They are acting like a bunch of drunk students. Maybe it would be funny if I was drunk too? *necks wine* :beer:LBM - 19/03/2011

Hi Silly Girl, you sounds like me (just with less debts)! Well done so far in changing habits. That is the hardest and I am still wprking on it myself. I am the same about my normal saturday habit is a little bit of retail therapy, it's difficult to find new things to keep me busy. At the minute it's all MSE and moneysaving but I know I need to get a proper hobby for the weekends and evenings. Thinking I will become a real outdoorsy type - taking the dog out for lots of walks...might work over the summer but ermm not the winter!
Anyway, I have subscribed and hope to hear more about your progress!Staring point of debt £23,343:mad:

Thanks Vicky! I have struggled with boredom this weekend. Everything my friends want to do means spending & they aren't aware of the extent of my debt - I'm too embarrassed/ashamed! I told my BF I'm about £4k in debt & I actually thought I was until I added it all up! He's amazing with money so I think he'd struggle to understand how I've got in this pickle!skyvicky123 wrote: »Hi Silly Girl, you sounds like me (just with less debts)! I'll search for you diary now. I'm finding reading other peoples is helping me. That's why I want to be annoyingly detailed so hopefully one day I'll be debt free & people like me can read mine. That's my daft dream anyway!LBM - 19/03/2011

Hiya, I know what you mean about boredom - and why does everybody else seem to have money to burn?? We ended up spending the best part of our budget at the pub Sunday afternoon, couple of drinks and food and there goes my week's spendies in a flash! I just felt too awkward to say no. Not wanting to be left out etc. Now so depressed as no money for the week, and have to wait another 3 weeks until I can pay more off my debts. Bleurrggghhh I hate Mondays:mad:Staring point of debt £23,343:mad:

Me too!
Me saying 'I don't have any money' to my friends does sound like 'I don't want to come/see you' etc. They're all in old student debt too but I don't think they've been silly with credit cards like me.
Speaking of which, I had a letter saying my limit has been increased by a further £2k. Madness. Thank god I've got my head screwed on now or I know I would be ordering an iPad right now!
Can't get motivated today. Really want to go home & catch up on The Only Way is Essex and be a general slob!LBM - 19/03/2011

No NSD today. I bought lunch & a can of diet coke (aka my downfall). It's ok though, I'm going to buy a lunch once a week if needed rather than the 5 a week before priced at least £2.45 a go.
Going to fill the car up on the way home & then list a load more bits n bobs on eBay. I lost a load of weight so a lot of my clothes need to go anyway.LBM - 19/03/2011

Ooh it's too late for the warning - I'M AN ADDICT
I'm still feeling a bit overwhelmed as I thought I was only in half the debt - lord knows why. I just never wanted to face up to it I guess. Ho hum! Luckily I've found this place now and it'll straighten me out!
I spent some pennies today.- £45 to fill the car up
- £3.09 on Deep Freeze for my whiplash. Saved 78p.
- £3 on cleansing wipes. 3 packs for £3! Bargain!
- £1.50 on bubble bath. 2 for £1.50.
- £9 No.7 Hot Cleanse. This is a Mothers Day prezzie.
I feel guilty for spending but I'm trying not to. All this bits will last me a few months - I need to chill a bit! Although I bought lunch (£2.45). Will try & limit that to once a week max. Going to make some pasta now to have for tomorrow.LBM - 19/03/2011
