Morning all, hope everyone has a good weekend.
Hugs for all those that need them.
The sun is shining here today as well. DH is finally out of bed. He suffers from ME and has had a few busy weeks and now has a cold so his body crashed last night.
Anyway he is in the shower now and then the brood and I will go and get sorted. Hopefully we will be able to get out of the house as soon as everyone has had lunch and get to the shops to do the monthly shop.
Have a batch of coconut balls in the oven
So will give you the verdict after lunch.

DH has gone to get car serviced and taken eldest DD with him so will be gone all morning.Asked them to bring back bread and milk and hope they remember.
Pleased with the free range eggs I got from the market yesterday as they are a good size and came in useful for a cooked brekkie for DDs this morning.
I want to make an apple pie later but no idea what to have as a main dish tonight. The cheapie food processor fell apart in shock a few days ago at having to slice some carrots so I can't blend soup etc which is annoying.
Feel guilty if I spend as so much needs sorting out in house and garden still but giving myself a good talking to. I know that I will use a decent food processor so thinking of treating myself to one from Lakeland as they have a good service and guarantee.
Buffet might be an idea with sausage rolls, boiled eggs, salad and pasta or pizza with chips for DH as I promised to make some last night but had upset tummy etc so did not want to be handling food IYKWIM.

Beautiful day here so just wanted to get on with my jobs earlyish as once I get on here I get distracted and then things don't get done or put off, anyway lots of flying so far I have
Cleaned/tidied the kitchen worktops and swept and mopped the kitchen and laundry (dont you just love the smell of bleach:D)
Vacced and polished all the downstairs rooms and cleaned and bleached the downstairs loo
Vacced the stairs and landing
Polished and vacced bedrooms, opened windows and cleaned upstairs bathroom
Also one lot of washing on the line and another in wm:T
I love it when I am in this mood and have the energy to get lots done. DH has gone with DS3 to DSS house to help him fit his consrvatory and DS2 is sprawled on the couch watching a film.
Dinner tonight will be a freezer dip or yesterdays leftover shepherds pie and the tins are all full, yesterday made lemon buns, bara brith and ginger biscuits.
Would like to potter in the garden this afternoon, need to move our gojaberry bush, all our seeds are poking through on the windowsill, I love this time of year when everythings springing up and looking pretty.
Well still in my nightie so better get in the shower. Feeling really positive and my healthy eating is going well, another pound off according to the scales:D
Have a happy sunny day everyone J xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Bitsy - have a great time tonight!
JackieO - the paint here is pretty dire but we have found one type of emulsion that really is the one-coat it says on the tin, and some decent masonry paint, too, both at good prices. Most of the paint here is like watered down milk!
Well, I've done a big shops - not easy in French supermarkets for all sorts of reasons - but at least we're stocked up. I had let everything run down so we've been eating leftovers for a few days but then, that's not a bad thing, is it? The tills had problems in two of the shops I had to visit, so I must have lost an extra half an hour today.
Now I have to pack it away - where's Colin Firth when you need him?!

Afternoon all

I have left OH cleaning the house. His friend is visiting, his mess, his problem
I'm at work.
We offered on the house and I am nervous. :rotfl::rotfl:It's wreaktastic, but only in a cosmetic way
It has no bathroom, gas central heating that would kill canaries, pine cladding from the 70's (think sauna) and backs onto an ASBO road. The laminate in the lounge has been done by a guerilla decorator who got disturbed halfway through and ran off leaving a trail of PVA glue and little red plastic stretchers in his wake. It has avocado wood chip walls, a self build "conservatory" accident that looks like a cross between an ice cube and a shanty town and two front doors.
But at least it doesn't front the local primary school/youth detention centre, smell of wee, back onto a park full of special brew cans and shopping trollies, is surrounded by a six foot chainkline fence and have foot high swear words painted on the side of it like the one we saw last week. *sigh*
Ahhh.. such is life. No time for OS - I can't see my kitchen under all the carp. Only thing in it is baileys, white wine, pringles and lurpack spreadble (thanks to Tesco)
. Did do some laundry this morning, but I think the incoming clothing pile has mountain goats squatting at it's summit. If I am not back by Tuesday, send cake.
Have a good day all, cel x:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -

Today am gardening with OH then going to watch the rugby in the pub later, come on leeds:j:j:j
Put a note thru DD's door yesterday appealing to her better nature, but it seems she hasn't got one:mad::mad:She hasn't even contacted my Mum who is going down to Wales today to visit my great Aunt who has broken both her hip and arm in a fall on the dancefloor, on the last night of her hols:(:(
Anyway best move my bum, (((huggles))) to all in need today:A"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Afternoon all! What a fab day! Mrs B at work, so went to daughter's footy match with father in law, a good match. Came home and went and shopped for the week at Asda - I did very well, got all dinners and pack up stuff for the week and spent 7 quid on cleaning stuff, and the bill was £34. I was chuffed with that. Just away to the pub for an hour with a friend and her daughter then home for Thai green curry. Happy Saturday to all!!0

Afternoon all
I've had a nice day. Managed to drive to next town and back with no problems
feeling so much better at moment. Have had my haircut, had lunch with the girls and a spot of shopping. It's my birthday soon and I'm going out tomorrow night to celebrate and have bought this dress (didn't pay that price though, managed to get it half price!), but wasn't sure what shoes to wear with it so I've bought some cork wedges with red patent straps
only New Look ones, and I got student discount on them!
I'm a bit tired now so am going to have a rest on the sofa for awhile. I feel like making a cake as I have lots of eggs in at moment so will have a think about what type to make.
