    Morning all

Been MIA for a few weeks while that 'life' thing got in the way! Beautiful blue skies here in Belfast again this morning!

DH working today and the step-kids at their mums so its me and DD today - DS1 and 2 will amuse themselves.

Need to go and get some tablets for the DW and then will finish tidying the kitchen and head out this afternoon to do some MS work.

Need to meal plan around what I have in and pick up fresh stuff while I'm out but its eaither chicken in breadcrumbs or chinese pork chops for dinner today. DH will get lunch while he's at work, me and DD have a MS lunch and the twins usually pick up a burger on Saturdays.

I'll try not to leave it so long before I'm back! Have a good weekend x

FB - Will your vertigo go eventually ? Sorry for my ignorance :o

It'll never go but the brain is meant to get used to it and counteract it so I should stop noticing the effects, and then only have flare ups occasionally. Doc said this normally sorts itself out within 6 weeks, but I'm on week 12 now and it's still not right. However I am begining to feel better which is good :) so hopefully it won't be too much longer.

    Morning all!!

What a beautiful day! I have dropped OH off at the yard, tried to take the dog for a walk (fell on my bum in the mud and gave up :o ) Gonig to do housework then head up to my parents house for a bit to pick up some stuff. Then I shall attempt dog walk number 2!!!

Lost a little more weight today. Tracking calories really is what i need to be doing, when i'm strict it works so well. I've drunk in nearly a week too which must help. I am so pleased with myself!!

WM is on it's first cycle, think there will be about 5 to do today. Dinner is Minted lamb chops for OH and i think i might have the last of the chilli on some crushed potatoes or something along those lines.

Have a lovely day all x

    morning all!

a lovely day here:j. I'm off to work later so not much OS for me.
I've cleaned the kitchen and bathroom and the washing is on the line.

DS suprised me and is already up and gone for a walk with his friend:eek: he never usually surfaces till lunchtime on his days off. I think he's liking the sunshine and wants to make the most of it as he's working tomorrow.

I'm full of cold and coughing away but still off to work as thats where I caught it from - everyone there seems to have one or is just getting over one.

(((hugs))) to Marie's DD and her friends family x x

PP - hope you're on the mend x

    have a great weekend all x x x

    Morning all,

Beautiful day here, sharp frost and very cold, but brilliant sunshine, OH is just hanging the first load on the line, and dd is putting the next load in.

Today we are off to the next town, where there is a cafe where they need a waitress, we are going to have brunch and suss the place out, then we will have a wander round the charity shops, I also need to pop into Lidl for washing powder and kitchen towel.

Not sure whats for dinner, will consult the meal plan. Need to hoover through and have a general tidy.

    Have good days all xx

had a nice lie in this morning - well till half 8 when I realised the sun was streaming through the window and it was too nice a day to laze. Daughter still fast asleep.. don't you just love it when they are teenagers and can sleep indefinitely?

Washing is blowing on the line, husbands gone out to buy paint, and I'm ploughing through a pile of ironing bigger than me whilst simultaneously watching Doc Martin from last Wednesday night - Multitasking!! Hoping to get out for a mooch around charity shops later, failing that will potter in garden. I love saturdays when I have no plan, just see where the day takes me.

Treating us to a takeaway tonight, first time since LBM! but it was payday yesterday for me.

Flutterby, I sympathise - I have labyrinthitis, which I only found out about because I was so nauseous, I'm told it can be similar to vertigo... not a pleasant thing to live with, am on week 7, but finally have been given some medication to sort the dizziness out.

Have a fab weekend all! x

BDF - labrinthitus is what I actually have too! But it's just easier to say vertigo as it's my main sympton and cos people tend to know what I mean. I'm almost over the dizzyness, just get it now if I move my head too fast, my main problem is the constant nausea :( I'm on medication now too which is helping but I had bad reaction to them last week when I started as they made me so drowsy! Hope you feel better soon x

    Good Morning everyone
meanmarie How awful for both your DD and her friends family I bet you are all in bits .I shall say one extra to the man in charge tonight .My thougyts are with you.Its a filthy discease the sooner someone finds a way to cure it the better ,far more important that fighting wars over oil.
moliere I hope you have a fabulous visit with your family .My brother hates english traffic too after the peace of rural France he also said thier paint was awful and nowhere near as good as the english stuff.:)

Well the sun is shining but its still very chilly.I managed to borrow a halogen heater from my DD as my plumber can't get to me until Tuesday and I do feel the cold quite a bit.
Still last night I managed to knit DGS Mikey the trousers for his teddy bear out of some odd bits of wool and even made him a little pair of braces to match. He will be a happy little soul when I see him tomorrow .I have a small amount of ironing to do today and have just put on the line a wee bit of hand washing Not enough to warrent putting a machine load on.I also unpicked an old jumper for recycling the wool for my charity blankets .I have washed it out and have two thick hanks of it hanging on the line dripping away beautifully Hopefully it will be dry by tonight and I can roll it up into balls. It was an old jumper that I found that was stuffed in a drawer a few weeks ago and I can't even remember how long its been there I know I paid 10p for it at a boot sale a few years ago as my sis-in-law had come out with me without a coat and she was a bit chilly so I bought this thick jumper to keep her warm and its not been used since so I have around 4-5 grams of double knit cream wool to use up in my blankets for 10p now that is a bargain of the week I think.Boot sales are great places to pick up odds and ends like that and if like me you use a lot of wool for blankets its a great place to get a few balls for pennies .Its a bit of a faff at times unpicking it but its usually well worth the effort. My pal June gets oddments of cotton there as she makes quilts for charity as well.
Eldest DD said she will pop down for a coffee later so that will be nice .I want to get the housework out of the way first though so I'd better get a wriggle on .
Saw on the news that Jet Harris of the Shadows had died shame as he was a really good guitarist in his day.
Right time for tea I think
Have a good day everyone and <<hugs to those in need >>
    Cheers JackieO xx
