What's the monitor (just to make sure it can support that resolution)?

Hanns-G HW191D. I believe that's the native resolution

Maybe someone more knowledgable (most people) has some ideas, I'm not really sure.

Might be a daft question, but are you reinstalling the ones that came with your system, or have you got the latest ones from nvidia site? Do you remove the drivers and reboot before reinstalling?
