Nightmare Virgin Experience

I always send an email to Virginmedia or any other company, whenever I speak to their customers services people with regards contract changes, price changes, service changes, etc. Whenever there is any subsequent dispute with regards these changes, I use the emails as evidence and I often get a quick resolution in my favour.
Many thanks for CEO email - worked a treat !
Got my new contract today - 18 vs 12 months for all 3 services, £2/mth extra and £30 activation fee vs zero in verbal agreement.
Called CS - "oh everyone is calling about the 18mth contracts - its a system error" & "credit willl be applied for the extra". Still a bit dubious - well CS name was same as a famous actress ... emailed CEO and got intelligent reply confirming above a couple of hours later !
All correct - 1st month credit for additional install and recurring fees.
A quick, sensible and correct answer from VM - bravo ! :T0 -
Sky and Virgin are two odious companies! They can do whatever they want because they don't have any competitors.Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0

Not quite... Sky is Virgin's competitor and Virgin is Sky's competitor. I'm not considering BT with their BT Vision garbage because they suck. We’ve had to remove your signature. I also needed to email the VM boss in order to get some decent service out of them, his responses and those of his office were always prompt and straight forward. His office got the installers to start dealing with me as a customer instead of a problem.0
