Mobiles Abroad
Hi there
Travelling abroad very soon - USA then maybe Nigeria in January.
Any ideas of the cheapest way to use my phone abroad - looking at some of these SIM options...
Idealy would like to receive calls and txts free - happy to pay the cheapest rates possible to send txts and make calls whilst abroad
All the best

For USA get a SIM card there. Although they charge mobile calls differently and you'll also pay for incoming calls, there is no way to roam there without paying a whole lot more. Call charges are 10 to 20 cents a minute, and you could use a calling card access to reach UK for about 2 cents a minute more.
You need either a triband or quadband phone from here, or get a phone there, as the frequency bands are different (T-mob USA 1900 only).

For other countries, either one of the global roaming SIMs with free incoming calls in several countries, or a local one per country.

Depending on their international rates, you might use a callback service in conjunction with it instead.
