Who to make cheque out to..?

I know I'm being a bit thick,

But who do I make the initial cheque payable to when requesting my charges?

I'm sending my request to Nationwide if that help.

Was just wondering that myself except mine is barclays!!

Ok just found out that you make the cheque in the name of the bank or building society that you are sending it to.

Just about to send my letter asking for a list of charges on my account. I'm using the standard letter which says I'm enclosing a cheque for £10 but I don't know who to write this out to?

My bank is Abbey.

Any help much appreciated!!

Make it out to "Abbey" then. I just made mine out to "Barclays".

just thinking about claiming my charges back and i'm not sure who to make the 10 pound cheque payable to. i may well be being a bit dim, it has happend before. is it the bank itself or what? cheers
