Orange Contract Problems

Hi Everyone,
My first post here i have only just found the site my fault may have saved myself some hassle if i had found it sooner.
Im on a 24 month contract with an IPhone 3gs and i currently have 9 months remaining on it.
Over the past 5months i have been suffering from the following problems -

[*]Any calls made to me go straight to voicemail even though the phone has full reception and is idle on the table – I have tested this myself and found the results to be the same straight to voicemail even though I’m standing next to the phone and its idle.
[*]I will be on a call and it will drop for no reason both users will have full signal.
[*]If the call does drop I try to redial and it won’t reconnect it has taken up to 10mins to be able to contact the other user.
[*]I have constant problems with the 3G I can’t connect to the internet or use any other features even though the reception is full.
[*]I have added the T-Mobile feature in the hope it will help if anything it makes it worse places where I used to get full reception I hardly get any now.
[*]Text messages not being sent or received again even though full signal is present.
It has come to a point where i have missed several important calls i would digress more but im sure my personal issues are best kept to myself.
I have contacted orange via phone and email about this, regarding email i have had no response and on the telephone i have actually been cut off several times.
I called up again today to find out what's going on and the guy said to me "oh i dont see anything on your file (!!!!!!)!"
so once more the charade of taking details and events of the problems, he asked me for some postcodes where i suffer issues i did point out that its almost anywhere i go but i gave him 3 postcodes none the less and he said "oh all 3 show issues with service" considering they are all in different parts of london i find it amusing but he was adamant and then at the end he added it only seems to be 2g masts (Im trying to use 3g)
I wont waffle on anymore as im sure you get the general idea of whats going on. How can i take this further i seem to be getting fobbed off by Orange and i suspect that will continue until my contract is over.
I feel they are breaking the deal we agreed when i signed the contract this is in the sense of i paid for a service which isnt being delivered.
If anyone can spare some advice id be most grateful.
Many thanks
Brian

Have you tried the SIM in another phone?0
-
All the issues you mention point to a lack of 3g capacity or network congestion (a big problem in London at the moment), the signal strength is fairly irrelevant, pop the handset into 2g and test to see if similar problems are experienced0

Hi,
i have used the handset in 2g mode and it wasnt any better i still suffered from the same problems. I think this was suggested to me by orange when i called up originally.
I tried the orange sim in a nokia phone i have for a few days and it was teh same late text messages, calls not being received, much the same as the IPhone.0 -
Several more calls and another couple of emails and yes you have guessed it
no response :mad::mad:
How do they expect to run a business with service like this0 -
I had exactly the same problem. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3033290
To cut a long story short I managed to get out of my contract after 12 months but I had to give Orange my iPhone back.
I now have the iPhone 4 on 02 and had absolutely no problems so far :T0
