Should i worry- V low bill

Yes but say you could have your kitchen wired up to your meter, but everything else wired up to the other flats meter.
I have got to say, I am only giving my thoughts and I am not qualified in anyway as an electrician!0 -
Not sure where Kim gets 10kwh over the 7 days from - looks to me like 50kwh, or say 7kwh per day for the week in question. While that is low, I'd say it's not exceptionally low, but plausible if you have a lifestyle not requiring a high use (eg, turning off lights, energy efficient lights, smallish tv, tv not on much etc etc).
The other period from Dec-mar is about 500kwh over about 80 days, so about just over 6 kwh per day. You're doing very well paying £48 for 500kwh including the standing charge/tier 1 over 80 days. That usage is getting beyond plausible over those months, especially if you are at home all day.
Are you certain you are reading the correct meter for your property?0 -

Hi. Well, as correctly as i know how to- surely its just a case of finding the correct meter out of the 3, then reading the 5 figure number off it?
Is there anything i'm missing?
I am very MSE when it comes to electricity but we still live/eat/shower/wash etc. and it seems so low.
I'm struggling to find out whats an average as my last place was much bigger and all electric with a pre pay meter. There i would put on upto £40 a week in winter.:eek:The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter0 -

The best place would be to ask the shop and the other flat.
You don't necessarily have to tell them what it is about, just try slip it into a conversation, or make something up...
"bills were so much cheaper at my last place, I only paid £40 a week, here it's more like £50, I'm thinking of changing supplier.... BTW who do you use, and how much do you pay?"0 -

:rotfl:I meant you could slip that into a conversation with your neighbour from the other flat or the shop.

Could you keep an eye on the other meters usage and see if yours is comparable or not??0

Not sure it would work- although i did notice today when i checked, that the flat above me's meter was going much faster than mine and he was out. He has storage heaters but they wouldn't have been doing much in the middle of the day, i wouldn't have thought. The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye.
