Currency exchange brokers: which are best?

I wonder if anyone has compared the exchange rates offered by the various currency brokers, and identified those that offer best/worst value. If so, it would be good to report findings.
The only broker that I have used is Custom House (xe.com, now part of Western Union). I have been very happy with their customer service and their rates are a good deal better than those of any bank I have looked at, but for larger transfers I find their margin somewhat painful.

I think there is website that should compare rates and fees of those brokers.
I found that Global webpay was cheapest for my transfer to my bank account in Czech republic.
The exchange rate was good and managed to get it when they had Fee free month offer.Best wins ever:
2012: Holiday to LA for 2 adults +2 kids for 4 days
2013: £2 000 Virgin Holiday Voucher!
2014: $1000 spending money for hols
2015: 8 night holiday to Thailand0 -
misa.blue - There is a website like that, which has around 15 different FX companies on there.

Hope this is helpful.Work within the currency industry - all comments are my own opinions. Quite happy to answer any questions about rates and market movements; if I can help, I will.0 -

Be aware some currency comparison websites are not as independant as they would want you to think. If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0
