Mobile internet on a dongle with 3 costs £10 you get one gig of data it lasts a month. Buy a preloaded sim card on amazon for £7.40 preloaded with three gig of data lasts three months the three months start when you put it in your dongle.That is a hellua big saving:T buy two get six months internet for £15.20 I DID:rotfl:

    Do you know if this will work in an O2 PAYG dongle? Or would I have to buy a new 3G one?
  • it will work on a 3 dongle or one that is sim free but they are expensive best buy a 3 dongle for £15-£20 cheers:T

    Thanks higgin! I only bought the O2 dongle this week. That'll teach me to go out and buy something without checking on this website first!

    look at the model of the dongle, most can be unlocked for free using calculators online :)

    I remember reading somewhere that O2 dongles come unlocked. Just pop in any other mobile phone sim (voda, orange, etc) into the dongle and see if the dongle accepts the sim. You dont actually need to connect to the internet to confirm the same.

    The Huawei ones were unlocked but the later supplied ZTE dongles are locked but can easily be unlocked in a few minutes.
