then tell him it's YOUR phone (as he's too young to make a contract) and it's YOUR laptop, until he pays for it!
if he wants to be a 'grown up' you need to show him how 'grown ups' need to pay their bills!
I just don't want him to leave under a cloud and not feel he can come back when it all goes wrong. He's still my baby reguardless of how much hell he puts me through0 -
My son is off to serially statutory rape a child. My primary question is "how does this affect my benefits"?0

wishfairy........youre caughte between a rock and a hard place and only time will tell if any decision you make now turns out to be right!
make it clear you dont want him to go and that he can come back at any time............but don't make it easy for him!
if he 'chooses' to leave and you let him take all his 'toys' while you pay for them........what lesson will he learn?
what respect will he have for you if he knows he can do exactly as he wishes with no repurcussions?0 -

Op like others have said you need to be strong now ,don t let him take what hasn t been paid for .Let him know you & his home are always there but that if he wants to move out then he must pay for his way in life.Ensure you tell him how proud you are of him for doing well at school etc ,if he does go ring him daily to maintain the relationship.Good luck ,my eldest is the same age I know its not easy.xxLife is short, smile while you still have teeth0
