Opening and paying into a Santander Loyalty ISA

I'm hoping to open a Santander loyalty flexible ISA this tax year. The money I intend to put into is partly in Nationwide and partly in a Santander account.

My question is - would I be able to write two cheques (one from Nationwide say £2500 and one from Santander say £2500) to put into it? Can I do this?

Or is it worth me transferring the money online over to Santander from Nationwide before opening the account?

Can't see any reason why not. Some accounts state that only one, initial, opening deposit is allowed, but not this one.

You can pay the money however you like two cheques.. 1 cheque.. Transfer in online.. Cash. There is no time frame in which you have to do it just remember all has to be before 6th April so you don't lose out on 2010/2011 tax free allowance.
