willi have to pay the congestion charge twice?

Hi,
I'm going to my boyfriends tommorrow and will be staying overnight, and leaving the next day, he lives just inside the congestion charge zone, will i have to pay tommorrow and the next day?

I think you will have to. The website is not very clear but it says £8 per day rather than per 24 hours and you will be in the zone on two separate days.

According to the TFL site, the congestion charge is only payable between 7am and 6.30 pm. Arrive after 6.30 tonight and no charge. Leave early tomorrow and no charge again. Good luck finding somewhere to park inside the zone.

i can park outside his house, i've decided to get the train, it only costs £8 each way, so i'll be saving on the petrol.

Yes, you would have had to have paid twice - although my partner lives just outside it, to get to his house from mine i'd have to drive through it, so its either an annoying detour around the edge, or a long & hasslesome train & tube journey - havent decided which is worse yet!!
