moving, internet?

I have bt line for 12.99 a month and orange for 9.99 per month for fast internet and they have run out the contract but still using them, but i moving out next month and thinking theres no point in keeping my bt phone line as i never use the calls i only recieve recorded messages of people trying to sell styff and i only have it to get the broardband as i like to always use the internet!, i have herd that odd companys like virgin etc that you dont need a phone line which sounds good as i want internet but dont want a pone line, does anyhtone know whats best, i use the internet for sites like this, facebook etc and sometimes buy the odd one or 2 songs off itunes etc.

ADSL broadband requires you to have a land line for which you pay a monthly rental.

If you are in a Virgin cable area then yes you can get a stand alone broadband product, however you will pay more for this as a standalone than you would if it were part of a package.

You can get your BT line rental to £10/month equivalent by paying for a years rental up front.
