    Does the type of browser affect your vulnerability to viruses? Is one browser safer than another? And if so which?
    There's a techie board, they might be able to help you, but I swear by Mozilla Firefox. You are, I believe, less vulnerable using that than IE.

    I'd suggest that you use that, and he sticks with IE if he wants to.
