I placed an order over 5 weeks ago with Shudoo for 2 pairs of shoes. I have sent numerous emails to them but only got the moving warehouse excuse. A neighbour from another street randomly brought me a parcel that he recieved this morning which was from Shudoo. This contained only 1 of the 2 pairs I ordered but in a totally different size! They did not even bother to give me a packing slip. I guess I will just have to sell them as I don't trust sending them back.:(

di u get a despatch email or did they just turn up?

Not sure how it works having never done so myself but I know with many credit cards you can make claims on spends of more then £100 as a charge-back if its fauty or broken or somethings wrong with the product, you could always try making a claim about this? personally I'd list it as fraud but you may want to word it carefully as you did use the card yourself, its the company who made the mistakes here and not you and you need to make that clear to your CC company.

Theres probably more info about the credit card thing on the other forums, maybe try the puremoney forum on here or similar.
  • I placed my orders on 26.02.11 and 14.03.11 and am still awaiting delivery from shudoo.
My husband phoned our credit card company last week to report the issue. We had a form through the post this week requesting some information relating to the purchases. I am now awaiting a response to our claim with our credit card company, however we were told on the phone that we are entitled to have the funds refunded due to non-receipt of purchases. My 1st order was for £160 and my 2nd order was for £75. Advised that we should get both amounts refunded.
Although this is the 1st time this has happened to ourselves, according to our credit card company, non-receipt of goods is relatively common.
  • DO NOT BUY FROM SHUDOO! Worst company I've ever had the displeasure in dealing with! Firstly boots took 2 weeks to arrive which meant they arrived when I was away. I looked at the returns label when I arrived back (as the boots were too small) which said I had 28 days to return them. I ordered another pair in the larger size and returned the others a few days later. 2 weeks later my new ones still hadnt arrive so I'll called and was also told there was warehouse problems.
I then mentioned I had returned my other and was told very rudely that I was not getting my money back as I used a discount code which means I can only return the boots within 7 days! I obviously was extremly annoyed as the returns label did not say this whatso ever it said 28 days! Luckily I had a copy of the returns label so threatened them with trading standards so they agreed (after a lot of arguing) to refund me when the item was tracked in.

Well the item was recieved by them 28 days ago on Monday and I still have no refund and they have ignored all 4 emails I have sent and they phones are now ringing a dead line as oppose to the 'problems with their lines' message it was giving for the last 2 weeks.

I am absolutly fuming about this as they owe me just short of £150. I have the feeling Shudoo have actually gone into recievership and just arnt telling people so they can scam as much money out of people as they can!

Are they allowed to do this? I have spoke to my bank who will help me but say there is no gaurentee I will get my money back :-(

    Please can anyone help???

Also how do we take the matter further i.e. Trading standards, Watchdog?

This company should not even be allowed to trade and people need to be made aware how bad they are

    **DO NOT BUY FROM SHUDOO!!!!**
**COMPLETE SCAM!!**   :mad::mad:

Just noticed that they have put a statement on there website, guess all of us with returns will just have to wait and see??

We regret to advise that due to trading difficulties the business is ceasing taking any new orders and the directors are taking advice as to the financial position of the
company. We are informed that some orders can not be completed due to problems which have arisen with warehousing and missing stock.
We ask that no more returns are sent back. More information will follow. We apoligise to all our customers.

Sorry to hear that so many people will have lost money through them :(

I have cut and paste the relevant text, posted 9 hours ago in connection with removing all affliate links connected to shudoo

    "Hi,

My colleague and I had an extensive call with Shudoo late this afternoon. We were informed that due to a number of difficulties Shudoo went into administration today. Following the telephone call, we acted very quickly (we do appreciate that it was late in the day)."
