Yes I received shares when they converted - that's when they started playing their "start it high, drop it quick" accounts. I'd still use them if there was enough of a gap to other banks, and I wanted to check rates every few weeks...0

I've convinced my mum to put money in the NR account, instead of keeping it in a building society paying 4.25% !!:eek:
Looked at Landsbanki et al, and decided that their terms for withdrawing money are unbearable - 7 days ! No way pedro !Karma is a wonderful thing.
