First bash for me....
Definate NSD
Got up and checked bank - all OK
Volunteering today (well my employer is involved in a scheme) so free lunch so no sarnies required.
People obviously not that interested in horse racing as I have managed to pick up 4 free bet coupons on the train this morning in supplements, so a quick walk down Oxford St will see me place 4 FREE £2/£1 bets at more than 10-1 at Cheltenham (You never know!).
Walk home from Central London later (12km walk) instead of gym (membership cancelled yesterday)
I've realised that the things I used to do before are SOOOOO similar to those I have been reading about on here.
P
If I had discovered MSE this time last year I may not be going down the road to BR

Grrrrrr.... I've just found out that all this overtime I've been doing should only be paid at standard hourly rate. I thought 'time and a quarter' was stingy enough, but apparently that's the weekend rate.
So, I've been here for up to 2 hours extra in the mornings and the same at night for my pittance of a standard hourly rate!!:mad: I would have refused if I had known. I know I desperately need the money, but I could have been sewing during those hours, or at least not getting so shattered!
Just wait til my boss gets back from his five week tour of Australisia. I'm normally quite meek at work, but this has really fired me up today :mad:Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0 -

Hiya,
Here's me:- Working half day - use or lose that flexi - I know what I'll pick!
- Going for a coffee with OH - not v DFWesque you may think - but going home first so we can have lunch there; only buying a drink and still feel like we've been out for a bit of a treat
- Take stuff to charity shop???
- Sort laundry - WIP from yesterday…
- Check for hotel deals for parents
We love newcomers Tiggy0 - Working half day - use or lose that flexi - I know what I'll pick!

Afternoon all
I was just musing on the fact that I sort of enjoyed reading my cc statement which arrived in the post this morning - now, that's a new feeling! It's quite gratifying to see the interest payments going down by the month, and the minimum payments (although I pay a fixed amount anyway - just means the debt is getting smaller, slowly). AND, I have already filed the statement - again, this is all quite new for me.
So, my list for the day:- made soup for people to take for lunches
- checked online banking
- checked for/done surveys
- walked to dr appt instead of taking the car
- heating off
- laundry on airer
- rest of the morning's soup for my lunch
- dinner from stores/menu
Quite a small list, but it will do me for today. Hope you all have a good day2011 wins: 2 day gym membership, film download, NETBOOK!Debt at LBM: [STRIKE][/STRIKE] [STRIKE]26/1/11 = £4733.26[/STRIKE] 11/6/11 = £3759.3840 -
