    Apparently he's just trying to make a claim for the car. No mention of anything else.

    I didn't want to make a claim as tbh as I don't want anything to do with him. I told my insurance company at the time with crime references etc so they were aware. Bruising etc went away after a couple of weeks and I just wanted to put it behind me. He was arrested and got a caution and I thought that was the end of it. Now he's called in a solictor and it just seems all a bid odd.

    Sorry if this all sounds a bit garbled - but it was really upsetting at the time and I'm just stressed about dealing with it. I think he's a bit of a nutter to be honest (any guy who punches a woman for no reason in broad daylight deserves a wide berth from anyone I guess).
