Gonzo's would be fine. I got one of these Samsung R540 15.6" Notebook (Intel Pentium P6100 Processor, 3GB RAM, 320GB HDD, DVD-RW, 802.11 b/g/n, Webcam, Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit) recently. £329.99 from Amazon with free delivery. Have similar useage to you and it works a treat!

But stick to your original budget and put your other £50 towards something else!0 -
When looking at getting a new laptop I would also suggest you invest in a data backup solution. Keeping photo's on your laptop as the only copy is nieve. I would recommend a external hard drive and/or burning the photos on dvd's periodically.

better is all relative, the one posted IS good enough to do what you have stated and in all reality you will not 'need' anything better,
you could however potentially either save money or get a better spec system by going for a refurb
for example (althought i hate myself for posting this, they do have a very easy to navigate refurb section and are suposed to come with a 12 month warrenty just like new systems - although how much use these warrenties are is to be questioned due to the rubbish CS you get from them)
pc world have a few for example
save money - http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/advent-modena-m201-refurbished-laptop-blue-08527248-pdt.html
better spec - http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/hp-g56-130sa-15-6-refurbished-laptop-black-08527208-pdt.html
dell also have refurb systems all over the place that would be worth looking into
the other would be Amazon WarehouseDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
i just had a new baby this past september and it's all his baby pics that are on there, my others are on cd already, thank goodness. i guess it's one of those jobs you never get round to doingWhen looking at getting a new laptop I would also suggest you invest in a data backup solution.
