my laptop died it's final death today and it is unrepairable so need a new one.
i mainly use it for surfing the tinternet, the kids play games on it and i store photos etc on it.
i don't do a lot of typing but i do a lot of knitting so i downloads loads of pdfs.
i don't want a net book as the screens are too small to see my patterns on, but i don't need a really expensive macbook either.
i have a max £300 budget.

I recently recommended THIS laptop to a neighbour. It is a very good laptop and would suit you perfectly.

unfortunatly £300 for a laptop is a very tight budget, you should be looking at refurb as options
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/236678 - is also a option, not the worlds best but will be more than good enough for what you are afterDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
Woah Gonzo! Great minds eh

The Dell studio range is great and also the Sony Viao range. The Acer Aspire timeline is a cracking laptop.

They are pushing £500 though..R.I.P Dad. I will never forget you xxx0 -
