Nope, but I can do you SE London zone 3 if you want to try south of the river!
Depends what transport links you have near you!!!!
(I work in Notting Hill - used to take me 1 hour 40 minutes to get to work from Herne Hill in the South East, so I'm definitely hoping not to go there again)0 -
I don't blame you! Having previously had a 4hr round-trip commute I am never doing it again.
Mind you, tfl website says 45-50 mins, train to London Bridge, Jubilee to Bond St then Central.
Have I tempted you yet?? :-D0 -
Hey EyesAndEars
If you haven't found somewhere suitable yet, I have a cracker of a two bedroom flat for sale at £180,000 in SE9 (Mottingham/Eltham zone 4). I have worked in central London all the time I have lived here and most jobs took an hour door to door (one train and either one tube or one bus). When I worked in High St Kensington it took me 1 hour 20 max. The mainline train station is literally across the road from me (no noise and is covered by trees and a row of houses).
I am selling privately at the fixed price of £180 which includes furniture as I am moving abroad) and I am not in a chain.
Going back to the origination of the posting: Regarding buyers and sellers mucking around with the price, I can't be bothered faffing around inflating the value of the property and then negotiating and then remembering who I said what to about possibly reducing the price etc so, I got an estate agent friend of mine to value it (for free, he’s a good friend and owes me). He then recommended that I got a rival agent to value it too. They came up with the same price. It’s also a modern building and probably easy to find out what it costs.
If you are interested get an email to me and I shall give you more info!
