Principality Promise ISA

Im aware that this ISA isn't initially the best deal on the market.

However as im looking to keep the money in an ISA for the next 5years, without, hopefully, making any withdraws, would this be attractive due to the 0.50% extra yearly?

Thanks in advance.

It drops to 2.00% after year 1, but 1.50% of this is variable so could be as low as 0.50%.

Halifax are currently offering 3.00% with unlimited withdrawals.

If you want to leave the money in there for 5 years, why not look at fixed rates? The page on this site shows you can get up to 5% on a 5-year fix. Or if you want online access you can get 4.3% from the Nationwide (then again, for a sum you're leaving alone for 5 years I don't think internet banking is all that important). In fact, the Principality themselves are offering 4.3% on a 4 year fixed rate ISA.
