Can you get a free trial if you had one a few years ago?

    Well thats jolly useful :)

Not really. What it means is that the useful bit of the service - being able to view your credit report - is now unavailable unless you also pay for the credit score, which any self-respecting MSE-er knows is a waste of money.

    I don't get it?

Surely in the free trial you see your score and report?

If you don't - what do you get with the free trial?

    ----

And according to the website homepage - with the free 30 day trial - you see your report and score :/

It adds something extra to the free trial - but the "extra" isn't actually of any value.

But those who want to sign up for ongoing access to their credit reports can no longer do so without also paying for the useless "extra".
  • No you can't. You can only have it once in a lifetime. I have just fallen foul of this. They DO NOT make this clear and will NOT refund the charge. They are just a bunch of crooks - DO NOt give them your credit cards details on the pretence of updating details. Hopefully Barclaycard will be able to help me

experian !!!! i give up . back in 2006 i applied for my credit file online , they said i needed to provide additional information , copy of my passport and a copy of utility bill which i of course forgot too do , so now in 2011 i try to sign up for my credit file online which i do with call credit and equifax may i add with no problems , but experian wont allow me to do it , they say they still need additional proofs to my identity even though i have moved twice since then and am registered on the electrl roll at my addresses since 2006 ! i think they have gone mad what do we all think ........ they still allow access to my file from 3rd partys as they have my permission to view it but they wont allow me access ..... SO HOW CAN I ALLOW A 3RD PARTY PERMISION TO SEE IT ..... i think they have lost the plot come on guys 6 years ago .....plus i did mention my proofs wont be from my previous address which he then told me its ok we will match them up as we have the means to do this !

3 weeks ago i sent a satisfied ccj certificate to them which they wrote back too me and told me they had now done !
whats my next move guys i have his manager ringing me back this afternoon .
