Just wanted to update all you lovely people that have been sending me good wishes and love. Firstly thank you. The hospital went as well as these things ever do, was there for ages and seemed to "do" the whole of hte hospital. Got everything done and (the best bit of the day) manage dto avoid being admitted(which is what they were initially talking about) we have agreed that it is a wait and see how I go situation.) Manage dto eat some wheetabix yesterday(yum) AND kept it down. Have some tablets that stop me from being sick so thats all good as well. Still feel poorly but a bit better today(which is great). Anyway to the best news of all, you may remember that my DH was offered two interviews for maternity covers last week. Anyway he went to the first interview yesterday AND GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!He starts on Jan 8th we are delighted. He has got some supply stuff for next week and is finishing at the sh!tty school on Friday. He has stayed home to look after me today(he is a sweetie) so thats been great. Am getting told off now as its time for my bo-bos, so will talk later. Again, thank you all so much, Love and best wishes Annie XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

I hope you are resting and getting stronger. Very well done to your OH for getting the job, you must both be thrilled!

Annie I'm so glad to hear that your OH got the job big congrats to him! :T I know how important that's been for you... and how much stress you've had over his work... so I really hope this is the start of much more positive things for him work-wise. And as for you, i'm glad that you didn't need to be admitted to hospital, that's a good sign surely. I hope you are resting plenty and feeling better soon, big ((((hugs)))) to you

Hi Annie - Only saw this thread today as I was in Manchester yesterday (visiting my daughter). Really pleased to see that you are feeling a bit better, and that you didn't have to stay in hospital.

Thank you all so much. Well more news for you today. Am not feeling fab today but have had lots of sleep and fluids if not food(Fantastic for the weight loss!!) Also getting MUCH better at doing sudko! Anyway, on to the big news of the day,as loads of you know DH has, after a long period of illness gone back to full time teaching. However as heads tend to be somewhat cautious(!!) doing supply to "prove his health" was the only option for us. He was at the school from hell and even though he hated it stuck at it. Then they didn't pay his wages last week......... Well, as you know he went for and got the maternity cover starting Jan 8th- got a phone call this afternoon THEY WANT HIM TO START TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This means that we GET PAID OVER THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Am so very very happy. For the next few weeks it will be a bit sticky as the pay will be monthly and have only three days supply(he had a day off to look after me) BUT after Dec15th we will be just like normal folks again. All we need is for me to quickly get back to normal( I WILL -I promise) then things hopefully will get back on track.Again thank you all for your kind wishes, you have done so much to make me feel hopeful,happy and as though someone actully cares.
