The AA desk at the terminal at the airport that the AA aircraft will fly from.

If you are flying from Heathrow AA are in Terminal 3 whereas BA are in Terminal 5.

BA also fly from T3 at Heathrow; largely due to code share flights.

When booking with BA I always make sure that I'm flying on BA metal. The AA onboard service is nowhere near as good and you even have to pay for drinks :(

Always makes me laugh the Brits are so horrified at the thought of paying for a drink on a plane :rotfl:-personally I think it's a plus-nothing worse than having someone drunk and obnoxious near you on a flight -so I actually avoid the free booze flights whenever I can.(Not saying everyone who has a drink on a flight is obnoxious -just when it's free some people are more likely to over-do it)

AA are fine to fly with-better food than BA (not hard that one BA's food is dreadful in economy), unlike BA you can pre-reserve your seats as soon as you book and they are in 2s on the side aisles so nicer than BA's 3s if you are a couple.... and they don't strike either :p Terminal 3 it is. The four digit BA flight number is for marketing purposes only and terminal 3 is much easier to go through than Terminal 5 (the BA terminal)

I take your point, but I just don't see why when I have paid more than £500 for a flight they expect me to pay another fiver for a G&T. I'm never one to try to empty the drinks cart but a drink (or maybe two!) when I get on board just helps me fall asleep.

As for the terminals, I much prefer T5 to T3 - and yes, BA economy food is usually terrible. I make sure I eat before getting on board. Hopefully I'm asleep before the meal service starts.

I've experienced a flight from hell with a group on board who did empty the drinks trolley-nothing to make you feel unsafe like drunks staggering around the aisles so I cheerfully admit to being utterly biased after that particular nearly nine hours of hell -I think the fiver is a good investment :)

Nothing stopping them doing the same on a flight with paid-for drinks, or bringing their own on board.

ive been on aa before & it was alright, ive requested a vegetarian meal which ive never done before so maybe that will be better than the standard option - we shall see :) but im flying in the morning so i imagine it will be something along the lines of last time which was chocolate crepes or cheese omellete and when i flew in the evening they gave a second 'meal' as a snack box which was much better than the hot meal
