I need a really, really cheap, pay as you go mobile, any help?

I want to get a really cheap mobile phone, a basic one for my ten year old son, just so I can keep in touch with him when hes out and about playing with his friends. Anyone know of any cheap, end of line or clearance offers anywhere?

Keep an eye out in Carphone Warehouse too.

I got a Siemens C115 in there. Cheap phone no camera or colour screan but it works. £7.99 with £10 free credit so I actually made £1.99

My mum got the same offer a few months later in a different shop. Same phone and everything... Maybe hit the shops on the weekend and see what you might find...

Still my mum got the very same deal not long after in another shop. Think it was in Bridgend. So these phones must be floating around waiting for new owners (-:

My phone has been going for a year. Battery lasts for ages before a charge. My mums one broke after a few months but CFW changed it for another and get this..... They changed it for a Motorola phone with Camera!!! My mum was made up!

So i guess these phones are around and about. Maybe try ebay??? other than that I dunno what to say.....

You can get a MOTOROLA C975 (not sure about the model) for £10 on the 3 network. You'd have to buy credit worth £30 but you'd need to top-up irrespective of the network.

Hope this will be helpful.

Or if you're an Ebayer, you can get the same phone for almost £5 (handset alone) and buy a 3 sim for £5!!:money:

in savers stores ( DRUG STORE ) i saw a phone on payg for 14.99 with 10 pound airtime , i think it even had a camara in it, they had two styles , im going to try and get one today
