great idea to donate if we have benefitted form the promo. All of the mentioned causes are worthy and in need, I do agree with the Help for Heroes suggestion although being from Devon near a marines base that has seen many injured troops I will support the marines rehab centre based near here.

Have you tried putting the details in again?

Sometimes it brings the voucher up

Thanks- tried that a few times- still no joy. I wouldn't mind so much but as of 9am I'll be on a train, then on the water for a few days so I'll be in suspenders til Tuesday!

Quote from previous post from another MSE user - thanks for the info

After being made aware of manipulation of the scheme by a small number of customers we have taken the decision to implement a cap of £20.00 on any refund entitlements to protect the initiative. The vast majority of customers don’t receive any refund at all after they check their real shop against Asda because they see that Tesco is cheaper.

The £20.00 cap became effective on our website from noon on Thursday the 24th of March. Regrettably, due to some technical issues the changes were applied historically. This meant that a minority of customers found their vouchers reverted to £20.00.

This issue has now been resolved with the £20.00 cap now being effective for requests submitted from Friday 25th of March. If you have submitted a price check prior to this date please re check your link where the original voucher should now be visible

Now if we all start complaining and keep bringing this to the attention of Tesco...sooner or later they will pull the offer. Can you just not be a little smarter and do smaller shops...pay cash...etc. No fuss no hassle just lots of free food!

It sounds like you want them to pull the "greatest ever offer".

Doesn't sound like they're planning to pull it (the publicity would crucify them). But the new £20 cap is working fine thank you, we will get on with it just fine! :D

What value of vouchers have you guys used so far this month? If you've gone over the £100 what do you think T's are going to do about it?

Well, between me, OH and our mums' email addresses I reckon we're at the limit for March already!:beer::beer::beer::beer:

At least there was a slight compliment in the BBC report from Tesco's!

Just to let everyone know I spent a £77 voucher this afternoon no problem at all well the only problem I had was spending the full amount whilst only aiming for £20 dtd back wow it's so hard! Today was the first time a till assistant knew how to do it without calling over a supervisor (I have hated that bit even though never had a problem I still feel like I've done something wrong)

I can't wait to start my £20.** shop to get a £20 voucher back it's great this thread like alot we only normally have tesco value food in the house but now we've got expensive brands too

Thanks everyone long may it last!

p.s. when you think about it, Mr T has done us a favour. The £20 vouchers are so much more manageable, don't you find - it's easy to find enough to spend each one on, and they slip under the radar. ;)

I've been to Tesco four times today. The last time, I actually had to get a 'normal' basket of stuff, it was amazing how much I got for £19 compared to a DTD shop!!!!! :rotfl: The SA said '9p please', she was utterly gobsmacked! :)
