The time you input your details is irrelevant really, you could have been walking past a tesco store when you noticed the promotoional material for the amazing double the difference price check offer and decided to shop based on that knowing you would enter your details the moment you arrived home. So at the very least it should be done on the time on the receipt.

Soz, saw this after I replied above! Fingers crossed then

    Me too! :rotfl:

Come on, where's my DTD voucher from Wednesday's shop, Mr T? :D

I did another DTD shop this morning - more Gillette ProGlide (still working!) and a few bits that I need and are on the same multibuy offer at A and T. Got rid of two vouchers in one go, and am expecting the same back in DTD. Yahoo! The £20 limit doesn't bother me AT ALL, we just need to be smarter than Tesco (which isn't hard on recent evidence :rotfl:).

p.s. LOL @ the comments on the Daily Mail website!!!!! :rotfl: To the poster who had a highly-rated comment - what name did you use on the DM site?

thought you were at the office???????:lipsrseal:lipsrseal:lipsrseal:lipsrseal

ps leave some gillette proglide for the rest of us!!!!!!!!

BTW (again) - to those who say that we are committing fraud by exploiting Tesco's promotion (entirely legally!), I would say that we have been very restrained in our activities so far - we could be doing a lot more DTDing! Also, hardly anyone is having their receipt signed and, in most cases, we are PROMPTING the staff to do so!

This is not fraud - just sharing our collective knowledge to make the most of Tesco's incompetence! And, after all, they are overcharging. If they were cheaper than Asda, they wouldn't have paid out a single penny. :);)

    I totally agree with you.

But.....people have said on an average shopping basket Tesco is coming out cheaper. We are being savvy(some people wrongly call it fraud) and pinpointing the items which are higher to take full advantage of the offer. Just as you would pinpoint bogofs or buy 2 for £2! There is nothing wrong with what we are doing but it could be seen as cheeky!

You are right, but at the same time Tesco are cheaper on the average shop apparently.

Does anyone know if adding clothing to your shop affects the rest of the shopping in any way? I want to get some items like Turner Rd etc, and some items same price as Asda, and then fill the rest of the voucher with clothes as I have not much cupboard space for more food but want to use my voucher up.
Please God, help me stop spending!

I'm interested in knowing this too - still waiting for mine and am hoping I get the correct amount instead of the £20 as the T&C didn't change until after my shop. Although I can proove that, how can I proove I put it through the price checker beforehand?? Anyone know??

I am waiting for my voucher as well. Shopped yesterday around 11 am. If I get £20 voucher only and I am expecting about £35-40 then I will just take some stuff back and do small shopping from now on. I bought ariel gel, dishwasher tabs, Surf and shampoo.

    Hi
Tesco pulled it out. I wrote a letter asking them about it but they wrote back saying it was unavailable&will not be returning.

Here is a link to the old one:

    http://pricecheck.logicalinternetsolutions.com/display.php?dept=G

this was a spread sheet done kindly by someone on the paid to shop forum
it is not a current upto date price list ok as a starting point
make sure you double check the prices before running off to buy as alot has changed
may be better for you to check the other price thread as is more up to date with successful DTDs
