Just back from a calculator aided trip to Tesco to spend my final >£20 voucher
If all goes well my 31.50 shop (31.12 voucher) should be 10.10 cheaper at ASDA meaning 20.20 DTD.
I don't know if anyone remembers but a few days ago I had a my receipt signed by sustomer services when they added my clubcard points and I was a little worried this would invalidate it for DTD. Turns out the cashier didn't even ask to see it
Am I the only one who stalks "good" sales assistants- pretending to browse until they are free
Me too! :rotfl:
Come on, where's my DTD voucher from Wednesday's shop, Mr T?
I did another DTD shop this morning - more Gillette ProGlide (still working!) and a few bits that I need and are on the same multibuy offer at A and T. Got rid of two vouchers in one go, and am expecting the same back in DTD. Yahoo! The £20 limit doesn't bother me AT ALL, we just need to be smarter than Tesco (which isn't hard on recent evidence :rotfl:).

I have a sinking feeling that everyone who input their details yesterday morning may have been wiped. As if I tried to reenter them now, I would have to agree to the 'amended' T&Cs. Lets hope Tesco honour those entered before the change in T&Cs.0

I re entered mine earlier to make sure I hadn't made a typo and it said it was already processing.
I wouldn't worry about it. We will get them soon I'm sure.0 -

I'm sure i'm being really thick but i'm getting stuck at the v. start-
When i go on to the price checker website to find the products in the first place I can't do it-
It takes me stright to 'did you shop online or in store' and tells me to put my receipt number in-
am i not doing it right? following the guide on the first page i'm supposed to find the differently priced items through the pricechecker before the individual websites and SELs?
miffed i found this after the limit was £100 !
any help would be much appreciated
thanks
Hi
Tesco pulled it out. I wrote a letter asking them about it but they wrote back saying it was unavailable&will not be returning.

BTW (again) - to those who say that we are committing fraud by exploiting Tesco's promotion (entirely legally!), I would say that we have been very restrained in our activities so far - we could be doing a lot more DTDing, literally around the clock in most cases! Also, hardly anyone is having their receipt signed and, in most cases, we are PROMPTING the staff to do so!
This is not fraud - just sharing our collective knowledge to make the most of Tesco's incompetence! And, after all, they are overcharging. If they really were cheaper than Asda, they wouldn't have paid out a single penny.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

The time you input your details is irrelevant really, you could have been walking past a tesco store when you noticed the promotoional material for the amazing double the difference price check offer and decided to shop based on that knowing you would enter your details the moment you arrived home. So at the very least it should be done on the time on the receipt... Which is what tesco base the price comparison on.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -
