Just back from Mr T's. Did an ordinary shop (no DDs) amounting to £52 odd and gave my voucher over for £44 odd. Girl on till called boy (team leader!?) who then took me to Customer Services desk. Was told that Manager had to be called when these vouchers are handed in.

The boy and another woman had conversation about how I was getting back more as a refund than I had originally spent and how people are abusing the system by multi buying and selling on for profit. Another 15 minutes of waiting and a manager came. She had a muffled conversation with the other woman and then proceeded to read handwritten notes in a book. When I asked how much longer it was going to take, she said she wasnt aware I was even waiting and that she was not in the habit of ignoring customers!

Eventually another manager arrived, checked the receipt etc. and passed it through to be processed.

Before I left, I said to the woman that if she was thinking I had bulked bought shampoo and conditioner, I have 4 daughters - all with coloured hair!!! Not true (only 1) but whats the point in being honest these days!

Maybe you should have bought some hair dye to back your story up :rotfl:

thats why I've stopped posting the list I made, I thought having all the items we can exploit in one post was abit of a target for tesco to pinch and pull a fast one on us!

The thing is they have to charge the stupid high prices on items for a specified amount of time in order to be able to then halve them and splash "half price" all over them

i had a dream last night, about 2 old ladies arguing over which were the snap pots, one of them finally discovered the snap pots and was so excited, she teared open the ccard sleeve, pealed back the lid and poured beans over her own head... bizarre

There's two threads already, I personally think it's overkill, this isn't a TESCO pricechecker forum, theres a distinct thread for chat, there's a distinct thread for deals, a £20 basket 'challenge sounds like posting deals for which there's a thread already.

perhaps we could use the other prices only no chat thread for this???

    planning to get

    cheerios, cornetto, twinings,lurpack,dairylea,rice krispie squares

what make is the fajita kit?

can't get onto asda site to price check at the mo. if anyone can see any probs please let me know. TIA

It is being applied retrospectively though, as it clearly stated a £100 per voucher limit when did my shop and when i entered my vouchers yesterday afternoon.

So unless i get the full amount on my vouchers today i cannot see how they can say this.

I thinks its ta.lking about "the extra cap" being the £20 one not the original £100 ... I think?
