I am actually looking forward to the £20 cap (hope it fits).
A couple of £20 shops at a time and buy some nice things as well as wine, wine, glorious wine : ) And 'olay olay olay olay'
I did notice tonight that my Tesco (it is mine by the way, I have paid for it over the past 30 years) still has the DYD signs up in every aisle, a good argument I would think for getting your full value again. However I wont be bothering, I cant be bothered anymore, I was getting sooo stressed about the whole shopping thing.
I still have a massive £100 one and OH has a £67 one, but will wait till April to use them.
OMG just remembered I spent a £57 one today on clothing and its still in the car!!!
    Happy shopping peeps.
And btw to the new posters who are trying to bring everyone down, no one has at any time encouraged those who are trying to commit fraud, we could all have tried it, I have not had mine signed except when I have asked them to, we are using, not abusing, the system that Tesco were happy to set up and advertise.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

No, 2 - thought about 4, but I wanted the CC points and DTD up to £100 limit each this month, if they don't issue a voucher I'll just take the wine back.

Now I'm up to £100 (I hope!), I'll use cash & different email I guess.

I don't really consider buying 2 wines on each of 2 different shops (per clubcard) a few minutes apart as abuse, I just forgot I needed 4 and went back, didn't I? ;)
i did 5 times paid cah didnt hand over clubcard and had 5 different emails,im lucky got 3 large tesco directs near me so ill use 3 one in each and my partner the other 2.After returning my goods this morning before i relised they chanced the voucher and i lost out on 98.00 im more determined lol.
    IM A DTDER ADDICT

    hey guys

too tired to read all pages since i went out to spend a voucher, got accepted fine, she didn't even ask for reciept!

my question is...i have one left for £60 plus...do i need to panic or can i spend next week

    thanks xx

If I was you I'd get my shoes and pants on, my hat and coat, and scoot down to the nearest Tescos quick as I could. Because if todays performance is anything to go by Tesco will have changed their T&Cs at least five times by the time you wake up in the morning!!

Well, just got in from my last big shop - after the lunchtime debacle I wanted to spend my two biggies (£97 and £88) as soon as poss, so nipped to one Mr T at lunch and did the other just now on the way back from my evening job. The lady in Camberley called her supervisor, not to check, but to show her how lucky (I didn't correct her) I'd been. The supervisor said it served Mr T right for being so expensive in the first place, and if they'd thought about it they'd have checked their prices before making the offer! Then she whispered that she shops at Mr A, even with her staff discount :p

I am sad it's over, but TBH, I'm bloody knackered! Working two jobs, keeping up with the thread, planning two shops a day, double checking the prices, sweating at the till and lurking around like a criminal has taken it's toll :rotfl:I'll be sticking to £20 a week from now on!

OH thinks I'm mental - so I'm going to inventory the garage and work out how long all my washing powder/comfort/shower gel/etc will last. He still doesn't believe I didn't pay for it!

I used my first £58 DTD voucher this afternoon, was a little bit worried after reading about £20 limit that they wouldn't accept my voucher. Went to SA I knew, she was surprised to see my voucher, called a supervisor so I was holding my breath....all went very well :j, the supervisor told SA to scan it, signed my receipt and mentioned that there were a lot of vouchers today. SA asked me how & where I got it & she was lovely. :)

Thank you so much MSE's who post here great deals & products prices!

i bought £40 of clothes last week in the yellow sticker sale and used a DTD voucher for £25 paid the rest in cash
didn't see the above signs though has it just started??:(:(:(

I should have taken pictures! There was a 5 foot high promotional display board with loads of leaflets. Literally as you walked in.

There was also DtD promotiona gear EVERYWHERE!!! Posters, dangly things and even the security bars had sleeves over them with it on...to say me and the girls had a good giggle about it was an understatement!

    hi guys
not quite caught up with thread yet but had to post what my sis and I have been up to ........

ok so went to tesco in a bit of a panic (don't know why we're panicking) to spend our vouchers , mine £53, hers £73 (she has another £80 non recycled one as well) she just wants to get rid of them now

the PLAN-decided either do DTD shop or offers shop or mixed, went for mixed as i am reluctant to pay any extra.

Got there same CSmanager that was there the other night when we did our BIG shops, big gulp!!!

So as we are now all DTD brainwashed, first few items easy -defo DTD stuff (olay, aquafresh whitening, heinz snap pots) then we started struggling to fill the trolleys.

Converstaion(or arguing) as walking around was hilarious
"How much DTd stuff have you got?"

    "About £40 worth"

"No thats too much put some back"

"No its free it doesn't matter"

"ok so get offer stuff then "

"but thats cheaper than in asda I'll lose out on that"

"ok buy stuff the same price"

"i can't see anything i want thats the same price"

We walked round and round the store like a pair of idiots giggling but nervous, brains in total meltdown. Loads of good offers on tesco that she went for as well as DTD.

Got to tills and she went first (was £10 under for her voucher)
Stole half of my shopping from my trolley to make it up, still under , ended up putting her whoopsies through out of desperation-had kept them seperate !!! Still 4p under, double scanned one of the whoopsies. SA took voucher no problems at all,

Mine was £15 under for a £53 pound voucher, stood at the till like a total lemon had no idea what i could add, so ran for more milk and olay and snap pots.

SA gave us a whole book of school vouchers and took great care an attention to put my old receipt and new receipt both on a temp clubcard, naively told her i didn't have one!!

    MORAL OF THE STORY
    DO A DTD SHOP
    DO AN OFFERS SHOP
DON'T DO A MIXED SHOP -EVEN IF YOU'VE GOT A LEVEL MATHS LIKE ME, VERY EASY TO GET BLOOMIN CONFUSED

I am an expert now at buying expensive stuff, and cheapest stuff not the bits in the middle and not both at the same time!!! well done mr t for totally confusing me!!

PS on my way out returned the herbal essences that were n/a on my last dtd shop paid with vouchers and the CS lady just gave me back the cash!!!!

Now to enter the receipt for my shop and see what a hash i've made of it all
