Just been and spent a voucher for £4.44,only a small one at a very large tesco. The SA looked at it and told me I had to pay for my shopping then get the cash back at CS! I told her no you can just scan it and explained it to her. She point blank refused and after 5 mins strong discussion with her and a large queue building up behind me she called over the supervisor who told me I would have to pay for my shopping at CS. She escorted me over and I stood there for ten minutes while the CS girl read the voucher a couple of times and decided what to do with the voucher. She finally scanned it and I paid for my shopping. She told me if I had another one to just ask the SA to scan it and I wouldnt have to wait and go to CS. I explained that the SA refused point blank and her answer was "Well I'm sorry but they arent ever really told what to do with promotions and it usually take them a few weeks to learn!!!!!!!!!" I cannot believe all the hassle for £4, I've used far bigger vouchers in my local T with no hassle at all, but didnt want to tell her that.

That's what happened to me last Sunday. Think also I didn't get a proper receipt from CS and that's why I've not had dtd on my shop that day when I spent £43+. Going to return some of it.
    If I had known then what I know now . . .

"Of course we’re confident you will find your shopping cheaper at Tesco, but if not, we’ll refund double the difference."

    should also have
**please note we are not really that confident so we won't double the difference if your shop is actually over £10 dearer.

Come on- surely this claim must be misleading??

I think they should have halved the cap to £50 that would have been much better! How saree they be so inconsiderate! I am in bed and still reading this! Think they will have tho set up some sort of rehab clinic when this ends!

The DTD fun is not over yet Mr T :j:j:j:j:j:j:j

I think 3 nice little small shops at the same time is the way to go.....

1 for a couple of bottles of wine
    2 normal essential shopping
    3 DTD items

pay with vouchers if we have them and then get nice new vouchers for up to £20 in return :)

Can I just ask if anyone else is experiencing delays with getting the vouchers through? My second one was submitted 58 hours ago and still no sign of it. I phoned customer services this afternoon, but was told that it was probably due to the system being overloaded, but she really didn't have a clue. It's only worth about £8 but it's the principle of the thing.
