Tesco NEVER do things out of the goodness of their hearts - they will have either been reading this thread and put on the brown trousers due to the contact with the various watchdogs OR they will already have received a call from one of these bodies asking for details and panicked. How did they think they could have got away with this? Is there anyone in Tesco HQ's senior management with even one functioning brain cell? That fact that Tesco are so successful doesn't say much for their competition, does it?0

Hi,
I just wanted to say a very big thanks to everyone who phoned tescos - I got as far as emailing & pming martin but nothing else - they must've decided it wasn't worth the headache of everyone threatening trading standards, watchdog, consumer direct etc.
Thanks all - you're superstars!! :A"You've got to cut your cloth to suit your wassname" Terry (my Dad), 1944-present0 -
Has anyone submitted receipts this morning?
I submitted one about 9am, so I should be ok???0 -
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarghh. Got so mad about the "capped" voucher of £20 when I should have got £70 that I stomped off to Tesco with my 6 precious bottles of Turner Road and told them to stick it where the sun don't shine.
Just got home and my voucher has been update back to £70 - shame I can't use it now (sob, sob)0 -
Just been busy complaining but brilliant to see full voucher values back. Now, the question is when to spend it and what on, if only gonna get 20 back. Is it safe to keep for a month for normal shopping do you think, or should it be spent now? Not sure how best to do now the terms have changed.0
