Depends on if you think "abusing the spirit" is some form of legal terminology. Personally I think its complete pap and just tesco rattling their cans in the wind, hoping to worry people.

You'll have to excuse me now though, I bought some VERY expensive Glenfiddich 12 year old whisky from Tesco today and have some serious "spirit abusing" to do. :rotfl:

I LOVE this thread.....Best laugh I've had in ages :D

I just worked out that based on my clubcard vouchers sent out over the last 2 years I spend approx £640 a month at tesco (obscene I know, I know!!) and that's working it on double points which I don't think have actually been running for 2yrs. Itll be £640 a month going to Mr A soon I think!!!! :D

    Make that £320!:T
    Hope is not a strategy.

Lol- you're probably right! This whole thing has definitely made me realise I need to be more aware of the supermarkets pricing games! :D

    hi everyone......
does the glenfiddach work ? has it been successful does anyone know ? thanks:rotfl:
  • please, please can someone who shops online, help?

does the delivery driver take your dtd voucher and receipt or just the DTD voucher and when does the money go back to your account?

I usually shop instore and have done a few DTD, but the staff are so rude I find it quite embarrasing so was going to do a big online shop with a £98 voucher but want to keep the receipt to get my 5p of fuel ( they sent me some coupons)

    TIA

Good Morning, another sleepless night awaiting vouchers :)

I gave the driver a photocopy of my matching receipt, I'm reluctant to hand over the original receipt, in case of any problems.

The first one I handed over, I got an email the next day saying a refund had been processed, it didn't mention an amount. I have had the refund.

The next one yesterday, I'm waiting to hear.

Got 2 x 75CL bottles at something like 28 quid at TESCO online. At ASDA they are 20 quid. Got DTD, printed the voucher and used it no bother.

    Morning all
I still don't get this DTD stuff how can tesco say your doing a DTD shop say if do a normal shop but add 3 bottles of wine into it, or how are we meant to know cat food is cheaper if have a cat and bought 3 ??
If they have removed price checker then its a gamble bow anyway esp new t and c's when they don't have to enter any corespondance if a item is n/f ,
Surely if they have issued a voucher they have to honour that were doing nothing wrong unless making it ovious and buying 20 bottles of vodka but if add few cheap items to same bill re bread or something how can they say that's a DTD shop?
