I have to shop once a week / fortnight.
My shop last night was a family shop with some dtd included to hopefully reduce the voucher value.
Wish i hadnt bothered posting on here now..... all i wanted to do was highlight the fact that they obviously weren't enforcing the 100 limit.:(:(:(
Just ignore them it's no one elses business why you did what you did, FWIW I am in the same boat 12 miles each way to Tesco so I do few big shops rather than popping in everytime a DTD comes up0 -

I disagree with the £100 comments for the following reasons;
If Tesco want to implement it, then stop issuing legally valid vouchers in excess of this
It is a fair-use policy, not a 'rule'
There is a rule of law that can be thought of in Marks and Spencer terms, they don't have it written down that you can get a full refund for items bought (and not wanted), but it is implicit by the fact that everyone knows the policy, and that M&S keep allowing its use.
The same applies here, Tesco are saying (by allowing it) that it is OK, until such time as we implement this fair-use policy and at that time we will only issue vouchers up to the £100 max.
If they did that, none of us could complain, and we'd shop more carefully. I agree that you can easily get carried away with it, and 6 bottles of Turner rd gives you £68 before you start on normal shopping, so it's not that hard to 'go over' £100.I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!

grrrrr - I'm getting impatient!
:mad::o
I decided to take the plunge yesterday and buy a few selected items from Tesco and have been checking my email since 4pm when I put the receipt details in. I darent buy anymore until I know I've got the grasp of this DTD thing.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -
Went to spend my dtd voucher yesterday, man on the till did not know what to do, called over a supervisor who showed him, he was well impressed and asked me how i managed to get a refund, i told him to look on tesco.com and he said he would. I then left the store WITHOUT my new receipt :eek: as i was so busy talking etc. The new receipt had all the wine on that i had just purchased. Anyway i put shopping in the car, ran back into the store and asked for my receipt, luckily it was in the bin under his till, along with hundreds of others.....No bother spending voucher but supervisor did mention that they had lots coming in, and that she personally thinks it is stupid and they will put a stop to it soon....:eek:Make the most of your days, enjoy your life.0

Hello everyone, thanks for all the info and advice, I'm a newbie.
Quite shocked to read the problems that a few of us have been having involving Tesco staff!
Handed over my largish voucher of £75 this morning in Harlow, Essex, to nothing more than excited interest from CA and her supervisor.
It really does depend where you are shopping but if they can be nice and behaved in one store/part of the country, then why cant they do the same everywhere!!!??
A few prices had changed this morning but most were still good. Luck of the draw when they decide to price check my receipt though.
Unconfirmed as of 8:06am Tuesday 22;
Fairy Gel Excel Non-Bio 18 washes x2=£9.04--£6.00--£2.96!
Turner Road Merlot= £9.99--£4.48--£-1.03!(Profit)
Babybel 12pack x2= £5.74--£4.00--£2.26!
Listerine Total Care 500ml x2= £8.18--£5.00--£1.82
And of course the Cornetto Enigma!
P.S. these prices are could change today, keep checking!

The roasting pans are 2 for £8 on Asda, so would that be a DTD of £24 if you bought 2 at Mr T's?
Yes - I did it myself. But watch that prices have not been altered overnight like others have. Difficult to check atm as my supermarket still down but checking relevant sites might be worthwhile.0 -
I left somethings in my ASDa online basket overnight, I've refreshed it and the Jamesons and The Gloriosa Pinot grigio have both gone up. jamesons is £17.92 and the PG is £47.88 for 6...oh mayo is £1.50 now too.0
