Refund an replace. Before tesco introduced their double the discount policy for any item which scanned at a higher price than the shelf edge label they used to refund you the total amount and also let you have the item (free).
It was Refund and Retain.
If they overcharged you by even a penny more than the price on the SEL, they gave you all your money back, and you got to keep the product.
The xbox fiasco was a classic. The SEL was for £299.97 but they went through the till at £299.99. There were people travelling the country to buy them and it went on for ages.

I purchased 12 bottles of wine at 10.10am yesterday when they were 9.99 at Mr T and 4.48 at Mr A.
Also...if all goes well, I need some Rose wine now, what are the best offers on this?
Cheers

Can I just ask, the turners road wine yesterday was labelled £4.99 on the shelf but it would have changed to £9.99. If I was to buy one, could I go to customer services and say I have been charged wrong and get a refund of dtd making it free? and do they write something on receipt which would stop me getting a dtd voucher?Comping wishlist for 2017

I submitted my voucher on my iphone whilst walking away from the till:rotfl:
Should the prices change before I get my voucher, will my shop be compared at the time they process my voucher or the prices at the time I submitted it?
What counts are the prices at the time of your shop, what it says on your receipt. It's not the time you submit it or the time they issue the voucher, it's when you paid for it at the till in Tesco is what matters.

Just found this yesterday as I've been trying to be good with grabbits but this seems too good to miss. I can only shop online, what happens then. If I pick a delivery date for tomorrow and everything changes? sorry for being so late and not keeping up but have tried to scan through the thread and can't find the answer. But noticed the Pricechecker yesterday and a place for online shopping:). As usual probably got n too late for this one!
I have ordered online yesterday to be delivered this morning. This is my first go. I had my fingers crossed and so far the only 2 prices to have gone up on my list is cucumber and hula hoops. If there had been major differences would have had to hand back to driver for a refundPlease God, help me stop spending!0
