    help please. :)

so am I right in thinking the only way to find these deals (apart from posted on here) is by looking items up on the Asda site first and then checking it on Tesco to see if they're dearer and then go and buy it/them and submit voucher before 5pm that day.or by checking your 'general shopping bill.

sorry just want to get it right as hoping to get some tomorrow and don't want to end up out of pocket,if you know what I mean. :o

You need to check items on the tesco price checker here using the list of items.

Before going for your shop also check the prices on the tesco and asda websites to make sure they are the same as the price checker.

Then take a list of the items with you. If the prices instore are the same as your list then go for it.

Then input your receipt details here.

    Good luck. :)

Just thinking...the easter eggs that have gone from £1 to £2.50 now...if they're only £1 at Asda still, if we bought 2 (to avoid the 3 for 1) then we'd get £6 back meaning 2 eggs free with £1 to boot. Is that right?

At 1:55 AM they were still £1 on shelf and £1 at till and 3 cost me £3
gave it ago as i saw in another thread buy 3 at £1 each and getting £5 knocked off(2x £2.5 I presume) asda dont sell the 3 eggs I picked

but before that buy I got two with my DTD voucher hoping they would go on as £2.50 each so I could go to customer service and say i've been overharged £3 and get £6 back, then get another £6 later as part of a DTD voucher.

right now i'm hoping that when they compare them to asda they come up as £2.5 for each of the 2 eggs at tesco.

later when the offer kicks in i'll go to customer service and say they overcharged me 50p for my 3 eggs and get £1 back.

I also plan to buy 3 more eggs 2 that asda sell and one that they dont. will cost me £2.50 in store but on the price check with the 3rd egg being left off i'm hoping to see a tesco cost of £5.
Will report back later, wish me luck!

I got the last 6 bottles in my T local store tonight at 10.49 / each, after discount 59.79, hoping to get back 65.96 DTD back :rotfl:
If it works I will be one happy bunny.

If you read the terms and conditions they wont DTD if you have 5% wine discount :( I realised in carpark so went back in with my 6 bottles got a refund and went back and bought 5.
    1. Price comparisons for in-store purchases are based on what the customer actually buys. This includes price reductions and promotions (such as "half price" and "buy one get one free") but not store or category wide promotions such as “buy 6 bottles of wine and get 5% off” or linksave promotions (such as "buy cheese and get crackers free"). These are excluded as it is difficult to make fair comparisons. Products that are purchased on a "reduced to clear" basis will be compared at the price paid at till. .

Not true... as long as you stick to the SAME wine for ALL six bottles it works out as the best return... ;)

    From the t&c

We do not include Linksaver deals (e.g. Meal Deals) or deals across whole Categories (e.g buy 6 wines, get 5% off) for either Tesco or Asda.

    ...see my post above...
