Just thinking...the easter eggs that have gone from £1 to £2.50 now...if they're only £1 at Asda still, if we bought 2 (to avoid the 3 for 1) then we'd get £6 back meaning 2 eggs free with £1 to boot. Is that right?

    i like your thinking!

    defo worth a go.

didn't go to tesco tonight. may have to go tmoro though....

That interesting, reading the T&C and I can't see where it says you can't pricecheck items from before the 28th- it only mentions 28 days after the purchase.

This particular voucher was only for £1.50 anyways- so not too important but can't see how the claim was fraudulent?

can't believe you had to go through that for £1.50?!?!

    had two vouchers.

the other was for £18, and was items bought yesterday specifically to avail of this.
the 1.50 just came from me inputting a few old receipts when i found the pricechecker website- just to see how it worked (before I cam across this thread)

    help please. :)

so am I right in thinking the only way to find these deals (apart from posted on here) is by looking items up on the Asda site first and then checking it on Tesco to see if they're dearer and then go and buy it/them and submit voucher before 5pm that day.or by checking your 'general shopping bill.

sorry just want to get it right as hoping to get some tomorrow and don't want to end up out of pocket,if you know what I mean. :o

I got the last 6 bottles in my T local store tonight at 10.49 / each, after discount 59.79, hoping to get back 65.96 DTD back :rotfl:
If it works I will be one happy bunny.
    From the t&c

We do not include Linksaver deals (e.g. Meal Deals) or deals across whole Categories (e.g buy 6 wines, get 5% off) for either Tesco or Asda.

I think that you need to check Tesco, then Asda or whichever way round you wanna do.

    Go shopping
Check prices match what you think they should on your list.
And it doesn't matter when you put receipt in within reason..

Not sure though as only just trying to work it out myself.

No it doesn't. While the Tesco product price checker also quotes Sainsbury's prices the DTD only applies to ASDA prices.

so are people using their clubcard when they go for these items?

and are people just buying dtd items sometimes and if so are these receipts being honoured or looking too suspicious (did my shopping there today before reading this thread :()
