I apologise if this question has already been asked, but hunting for an answer in nearly 200 pages just isn't the ticket.

If I buy on-line for delivery tomorrow, does it take today's prices on the price check?
is the price you pay the price thats instore on that day?

    welcome to mse
hope you don't lose your grip on real life like the rest of us:rotfl:

    So true!!!

Went to Tescos today and saw lots of Colgate toothbrushes at £2.86 BOGOF, or 1L Surf for £5 BOGOF - and I tought to myself "nah, too expensive".

It's going to be very hard to shop when the promo is over.

BTW, yes I bought only one toothbrush for £2.86 to claim DTD. :D

How do you know that they dont input the receipt details at a later time? The voucher doesnt just disappear when they put it into to the till drawer
Very true - suppose it would rely on the use of an untraceable receipt (i.e. paid in cash no clubcard).

    Glad its not totally foolproof
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)
    Quidco and Topcashback, £4,569
    Shopandscan, £2,840
    Tesco Double The Difference, £2,700

Ok, I've been reading this thread and I'm thinking of getting some Olay stuff tomorrow. If I check the prices on the asda and tesco sites before I leave and it's still cheaper at asda- would I be safe to buy some and submit my receipt for a DTD? I think I'm finally getting my head round it all now! Any confirmations/tips will be gratefully received! :)
Yep, you should be OK. Bought some for my wife today, and will get some more tomorrow when my new vouchers arrive.

In the worst case scenario just return it.

Because this one isn't good enough for them! :p

Seriously though, just stick with this one. The others will either be removed or moved to another part of MSE. Another thread was started last week and was moved.

There is no need for more than one thread on the grabbit section!

  • This has cheered me up no end. I was missing the camaraderie since I stopped saving Clubcard points. All I needed was a new hobby. :D
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D

Thanks! Its about the only thing I've seen so far that I would actually use lol! If I wasn't trying to lose a few pounds my house would be full of cornettos and after eights :D
