You are quite correct BUT it wasn't us who said Tesco were cheaper - Tesco did!!

Sorry my quote didn't come through above that, i was replying to the poster above me who was telling people in the queue as it were that Asda was cheaper....:o

Can anyone answer my question about buying 6 bottles of wine, do you do it in two lots in case the 5% discount is working?

Ice Cream Snickers now up to Tesco price btw...;)

    Interesting. Now Tesco have

    Kelloggs Variety Pack 8S 196G at £1.00

    SAVE 99p Was £1.99 Now £1.00 valid from tomorrow (21/3/2011) until 5/4/2011

    My cupboards full anyway :rotfl:

If I was to buy this today though would it qualify for DTD do you think?

Oh I know it's cliquey as hell over there. Totally different from other sites I've ever been on. MSE is ownded by Martin Lewis but it's our board, it's not strictly moderated and it works extremely well, I love it here. Yes there is bickering but that's life. I hate forums where you are not allowed to disagree with others for fear of being banned.

I will probably be banned now for saying that! ;)

As I mentioned in an earlier post in this thread, I have been refused entry even though I have never been to the site before! It must be because I used my MSE username! All I can do is quote the following:

I would not join any club that would have someone like me for a member." -

I have a voucher for £48 and am just off to Mr T for another shop. Is it advisable to spend this voucher on my next lot of DTD offers or to keep it all separate and use another time?

I was told with last weeks voucher in notw that they didnt accept them
I thought Tesco accepted any competitors vouchers, or is it only certain ones like Asda and sainburys?
  • Just a quick point - have taken advantage of this offer and been really pleased to receive a couple of big dtd vouchers - over £ 60 x 2 - thanks all who post. However, Tesco have also benefitted from over £200 of my actual CASH which would have been spent elsewhere - I never normally shop in Tesco. So I guess it's win win for all.
    Good point.
BUT you've fallen into a trap that Tesco has set. We are all conditioned to believe that the more we spend, the more we save.

If you had spent just £20 initially and bought a few items with the biggest return, eg Surf and Comfort, used your DTD voucher to buy the same items again, (or ones with a similar % return) after submitting your receipts 5 times and getting 5 DTD vouchers back you would now have £100 of DTD goods and your £20 back.

    Gotcha Mr Tesco :rotfl:

Mmmmmmmmmmmm Good question. They are obviously changing the prices online today, knowing that no more deliveries can be booked in for today. But in effect their online price and store price will now be different.

  • I haven't gone over £100 yet but want to do a shop later today that will take me over it. Has anyone gone more than a few pounds over £100? My shop will take me about £50 over do you think this would be ok?
