Sorry if I'm asking something that's been asked a hundred times before, but if there's no Price checker is it pot luck with what you get in store now for DTD?

Obviously I know you can check one website's price against the other, but there's no way of knowing if the item's included anymore is there? Or have I missed something blindingly obvious as I didn't get a chance to read the thread yesterday?

I believe it's the Tesco receipt price that matters and ASDA website price. They can't N/F a Tesco product (obviously you bought it, so it does exist), they just need to locate the same (or equivalent own brand) product on ASDA website to compare prices.

I use Tesco website just for shopping list reference before going to my local store, where I check ASDA website prices again on my iPhone just before getting to the checkout.

    PS
I spoke to Tesco dot com manager last week, he admitted the price team are totally flat out with updates because of this promotion, with inevitable mistakes/omission happening. If they N/F any products that clearly are on ASDA website just get in touch with them (standard email form) to get a refund. I used the contact form once last week, they called me about three hours later.

Hi guys. Thanks for the useful posts again. Just takes soo long catching up with it all. A question if i may- Has anyone been refused NOTW voucher at Tesco? I rang Tesco CS last week and was told that they only accept vouchers issued by them. Was planning to spend £20 odd, but would stretch to £5 withe a voucher.

    Cheers

I was told with last weeks voucher in notw that they didnt accept them

So I suppose as long as we buy non perishable items, then anything that they don't DTD we could return?

I picked up the wrong bottle of 'Finest Malbec' (french instead of argentinian) so I want to take it back for a refund but don't know what to say?
I bought 3 bottles of the wrong wine and took it back they never asked why i was returning it

Some Tesco's come out in a rash over vouchers particulary internet ones, in my compliant email about the Asda guarantee a while back i ased for their clarfication on internet vouchers and their acceptance and they never answered that bit...

I did a search on this thread but i still couldn't get the answer...

Is Tesco still doing the 5% if you buy 6 bottles and if they are should you buy in two lots iyswim...?

Oh I know it's cliquey as hell over there. Totally different from other sites I've ever been on. MSE is ownded by Martin Lewis but it's our board, it's not strictly moderated and it works extremely well, I love it here. Yes there is bickering but that's life. I hate forums where you are not allowed to disagree with others for fear of being banned.

I will probably be banned now for saying that! ;)
